The Japanese have a substantial number of ship killing Betty torpedo bombers based at Rabaul, and if they control the perimeter bases mentioned above they will have plenty of warning so as to be able to launch multiple strikes on approaching allied fleets. Therefore, the japanese tactic is to make a counterattack where the situation degenerate? Also, a CV battle is possible for the Japan or is better avoid it? Sorry but I have a plenty of doubts.
