I got CoG a few days ago and i have a big problem with it, wen i play a few turns, around 15 the game crash and go to the desktop with this msg:

"AppName: crownofglory.exe AppVer: 1.0.0.1 ModName: crownofglory.exe
ModVer: 1.0.0.1 Offset: 000087df"

I dont know what to do, i have the patch 1.2.25, i think its the latest, and my pc have all the requirements to run the game.

You are correct the latest is 1.2.25 CoG has a 1.2.27 in the works.

I would try uninstalling the game (this will not delete your saved games) and then reinstall.

hope this helps.

The 1.2.26 patch is available and may solve this problem, but you may have to go to the members' area to get it.

I'd forgotten that we hadn't finished testing the installer for 1.2.27.  I'll put that back on my to-do list. [X(]

Unfortunately, I have the same problem / same crash message (offest 000087df). I use the 1.26b patch, but it doesn't work. Therefore I need help to solve this issue.

I play 1.2.25 as well, and may have had the same problem. Not sure, but in my case, I could choose Abort Retry or Ignore when the error poped up. When I chose Ignore, the game continued and the bug disappeared after a while. Is this of any use?

Would you mind posting the DirectX Diagnostic file for your computer?

The most common issue we've seen that causes a crash on load is having out of date sound drivers.  So you might try updating your sound drivers if you haven't done that recently.
