I'm gonna delve into this one by eclipse as soon as I finish up the one that Rainman released earlier in the week.

Its nice to see some folks putting some scenarios together. Don't be shy about sharing your scenarios, guys. [8D]

I took this one for a spin and had a grand time.  The small scenario may be the toughest to make convincingly but I think eclipse got it right.  More of my stumble through the scenario at http://harpgamer.com/harpforum/index.php?showtopic=2672

hermanhum -> Harpoon Classic Scenarios (2/6/2009 8:23:13 PM)

Just finished this one. A very enjoyable affair.

Except for a few grammatical glitches, the orders are very well, exhaustive, and realistic.

The OoB is sparse, but very well done, too. The few units available mean that everything counts all the time and attention to detail is important.

In summary, my tanker escaped after being bombed and sustaining 20% damage, the Corte Real escaped after killing a submarine detected in her path, and the Vasco de Gama group fought her way into Jakartan waters. They were eventually sunk by amassed Indonesian forces. [image]http://harpgamer.com/harpforum/style_emoticons/default/sad.gif[/image]

Unfortunately, I was unable to achieve TotVic (even though I was pretty certain that my ships arrived safely in both locations).
