Rangers5thCoE -> Playing Different Stratagy Against AI (3/15/2008 8:56:40 AM)

Why is it when playing against AI; I move 2 bombers/2 fighters/several infantry from England & France to Egypt and artillery/AA from France to England on my first couple of moves only to have them disappear by the 3rd move? Is this a bug or is there no flexibility with moves/different strategies against the AI? First Post but no noob, been following GGWAW forums since beginning (old Axis & Allies board & computer gamer).

Most FRENCH units (identified by the small French flags on the unit icon) disappear when France is conquered. So ... if you're moving French units out of metropolitan France to garrison Egypt/England then those garrisons will disappear when the Germans take Eastern or Western France. Does that describe what's happening in your games?

Thanks for your response.
Precisely... When the Germans invade France that's when the French units I moved disappear.
Is there a mod out that would allow a move like this to take place against AI?
Would this also take place vs a human player?
