troopie -> OOB Manager (3/17/2002 10:29:09 AM)

Anyone know where I can get the SPWAW OOB manager, so as to be able to use multiple OOBs without multiple installs?

Dankie,

troopie

Troopie - If you are wanting to edit the OOB's you have the Editor in the WAW root directory. If you want a manager for OOB which will do much the same as the excellent Scenario Wrangler, I don't thinkwe have one at the present time.

Wish we did - I wanted to call it "Scenario Flipper" or perhaps "Spatula" but the Italian guys never answered about the plural of spatula = should it be spatuli?

I have this, the zip is 2.45mb! Can your mail handle it?

Ja, it can. Could you send it straightway?

Warhorse - Can you let the rest of us in on this OOB manager? Is it a new app? Where can us other prospective - and eager - users find it? Thanks.

Bummer, just tried to attach the file to a post, but it must have timed out, not showing, and that's after quite a wait, thought it might work..:(

I don't think you can do that on the forum - you can use an URL to direct the user to a site where the file can be downloaded.

Question: Is this a new app, a true OOB maanger?

Thanks.

The date stamp on it is 8/24/2001, and truthfully I haven't used it, I have an 80gb hard drive, so space is no problem!! It seems to be a true swapper, but someone will have to attest to that, once used. I'll ask Fabio or Tankhead, if they will post the file.

I got it .. I got it ... I got it!!!

Note: don't try to install oobman into anything but the default dir it wants - wouldn't run for me unless I did.

Looks OK and appears to do what we wanted - provide us with an easier way to manage those tons of OOB's - as a group however, no individual OOB flipping possible.

Don't know who Jerry is - he doesn't sign his work. Thank you , Jerry, anyway - don't be so shy.
