Grognot -> Minors and temp access (4/5/2008 11:52:49 AM)

Is it intentional there seems to be no temporary access within minors?

Checked this with a 1.02g hotseat, setting up some French and Dutch forces in Breda and suing for peace with cessation of Holland to Great Britain in January. French and Dutch forces are immediately repatriated out, and have no temp access to their former territory.

It's also the case that the victorious British forces do -not- receive temporary access to the remaining French minors -- although both France and GB have temp access to each others' home nations.

Can you send me your game?

BTW: Nice counters!

Hm, that was a throw-away test case, but it should be easy to recreate it tonight.

Regarding the counters, they're quick to read, but the problem with using them is that you can't transfer factors between units in the reinforcement phase when using them -- that code throws up an error regarding the size of the BMPs.

Zip file includes both before/after saves.

Jan 1805, France is set to sue for peace with GB; GB set to offer conditional peace taking Holland. Some French and Dutch forces are set up in Breda.

Click through, and GB and UK make peace, and mutual temp access extends only to the home nations, not minors -- check Gibraltar and Julich for instance, or Holland.

Looking at it...
