I have a wired Xbox 360 controller and was wondering if I first need to load any drivers for it to work with Max FB or do I just plug it in and play? Thanks.

The driver runs automaticly if needed. Just load the game and have fun.

The XBox 360 USB controller must have the Windows driver installed.

When the XBox 360 came out, the driver was not included with Windows XP, but it may have been part of a service update.  It should be included as part of Vista.

Thanks Guys. I just downloaded the Windows XP driver and it is a whopping 17.9MB. Why so large for a driver?

You shouldn't have to seek out and install drivers. Assuming you're using XPSP2 or Vista, Windows should install the driver for your automatically just by plugging the device into any USB 2.0 port.

You only have to download it if the OS does not automatically see it.  Vista and Service Pack 2 for XP should have done that.

In either case it is a relatively large driver.  Microsoft is well known for bloatware.  But what is 17.9MB on a 1TB drive?
