Sal -> General Lee (4/25/2008 4:18:39 AM)

K got this game and am now getting a little more involved on easy mode but am having some problems figureing out some things...I build an Army container and throw Lee in there...put some troops in there and Lees name comes up above the container..Now I make a Corps and put Longstreet in there and I lose all the XXXX above the Army container and no name comes up as to who is in command of that army..Shouldn't I be able to put Corps under the Army and Divisions under the Corps with a General attached to their respective places...Or am I doing something wrong and just dont know it...?
Thanks
Johnny Huma

If you have more than one container that is not inside another container the commanders name will not be shown at the top.
The best example is if you have a division alone in an area and it has brigades inside with Hooker as the divisional commander (inside the container) it will have Hookers name at the top. If another division is in the same area there will be no commanders name at the top because there are two containers in on area. If a corps moves in with Doubleday as the commander ( inside the corps container unit ) and you put Hookers division in side the corps then only Doubleday's name will show. If two corps are in the same area then no name will show at the top. If you put your corps into an army only the armies commanders name will show at the top.

You will know if your units are all into the proper hierarchy if at the end (or so...) there is the highest commanders name shown at the top. If not there is a container that will not benefit from the command structure.
