Those who know something about the land combat system: when you look at this image, what do the numbers mean? as I watch replays these numbers will move and change during the actual combat and from turn to turn. I guess my question really is can you tell from these numbers what is going on with your enemy stack as far as disruption/diabled?

Basically, it's showing the base and adjusted AV of each unit as it attacks and is attacked.  You could see if there are dramatic swings in the numbers to make inferences about low supply (if the numbers went down dramatically) or whatever.

i think the first numbers it shows are unadjusted AV - then it USUALLY increases to show adjusted AV(for leadership, preparation, supply, etc.*)- then it shows the number sometimes decreasing (effects of artillery, close combat) - then reverts to unadjusted AV.


*for artillery, i've read the second number is the number of tubes involved in the attack.
