I would like to request that the Land Combat Phase of the phasing player not be closable until all battle files have been exchanged. Twice now after getting a year or so into the game I have had to end my game because players didn't conclude a battle. Ended the Land Combat phase and then the next month the opponent can't move anything because they are awaiting a battle file.

The easy fix is just maybe a boolean that makes the phasing player deal with every battle before he can end land combat. Even if it's to say "No" to assult besigers I would rather every battle was ended before they can close the phase than to have another game scrapped because they can end it with a file or two left to exchange.

In the last game it ended because the battle phasing player didn't get a results from a pursuit from the player that broke. The player that broke said no file was generated and the battle was over. It was our first PBEM pursuit.

I think an issue that might be going on here is that the game sometimes seems to get confused if there are left over battle files in the battle folder. Sometimes clearing out the battle folder works and lets you carry on.

I'm surprised you had to abandon the games, did a backup not help ?
