[image]http://img211.imageshack.us/img211/53/piemontewv2.png[/image] I found this on a site depicting a battle of 1747 http://ilmarocchino.blogspot.com/2006/09/la-battaglia-dellassietta.html The flag is actually a white (light gray? ) cross in red camp. Similar to the denmark one.. but centered , and with bigger arms of the cross. The previous one i think is a "regimental" flag of the time (or similar.). but maybe u can capture some blu element on the corners to make it a bit more different from denmark and swiss [image]http://www.bandieredeipopoli.com/images/piemonte_v.ao/animate/b_piemonte2an300.gif[/image] this is the actual one, the regional flag, you may see that has a reversed crown on it, cause now the king is gone .. ;) but.. also this one is blue.. so.. maybe u can elaborate a red flag with white centered cross with some blue simple element on the corners/borders have a nice job ! ;) PS i dont have much time now to found background info on the flag, but i'm sure this is the flag deriving from the Savoy family heraldry, and they were rulers of piedmont/savoy for centuries, since 1200 i suppose..
