Hi guys,

Stumbled upon this US soldier/ photographer who has taken some incredible pictures. I am looking for some more information and pictures now, anyone has some links to share?

Here are some photos after googling...

Is it not a dead soldier in the snow, with his gun?

Here's the title:

White Death — Requiem for a dead soldier. Bihain, Belgium. January 12, 1945"

Looks like a US soldier to me. Sad picture though. Wonder who he was, what he did, who's son or husband he was....

Anyways, Tony Vaccaro was just an "ordinary" soldier, but with a camera around his neck. With it he took some exceptional pictures but I couldn't find many links to him, or his work.
