Airdrop01 -> Kansas??? (5/30/2008 9:14:29 PM)

As a born/bred Kansan, owner of a "Kansas: Keeping America Safe from Missouri Since 1854" t-shirt [:D], and genuine Jayhawk, I'm wondering why Kansas doesn't appear, at least from the video, to be a part of the game [X(].....Am I wrong and is it? 1861 we were officially 'in.'

Thanks!!

Now that's a great shirt.

Gary decided early on that the map would not include Kansas. I can only assume that he felt the operations were so small relative to other areas, that it was easier left off (and allowed more room for the rest of the country). Since the smallest unit represents 2000 men, it's hard to do justice to operations in Kansas.

Thanks gentlemen!

Ted, the words are superimposed on Curry's mural of Brown in 1850s Kansas.  Pretty cool shirt.

My in laws are from St. Louis and I love to wear it to the reunion each fall.

Oh man that's even better [:D]  Though I doubt your average St. Louisian would have a clue what the shirt was about.
