Well everyone has their way of doing things. Its been my experience that speed and maneuver mean more than durability. Durability is fine vs flak, but it also makes the damaged planes harder to repair. As for effectiveness against land targets, that depends on what your target is. In stock (which I never play anymore) I used to use the Lily as my primary airfield attack plane as the numbers of bombs (Lily carries 8 100kg) meant more than size of bombs for shutting down airfields. Size of bombs might matter for damaging factories ect, but as for shutting down runways and scragging off planes on the ground, numbers are better than size. And as the Japs, this is by far my most common use of land based bombers. Now as I already said, I DO use the Liz, just not in great numbers.
