I'm working on 4 different projects right now - including WITP-AE - and in all cases the project teams are global. None of us (to my knowledge) have ever seen any of the others - and we may never. I think that is the model these days - it certain presents management and project management challenges - and I'm learning as I go - but it is rewarding to see the progress being made - given the geographical diversity of this "virtual team". What holds us together is our attachment to WITP, the community and the fact that most/all of us would be "modding" anyway - we just decided to get together and MOD together and change the code while we were at it!

Oh from where I sit things have "fallen apart" a time or so ... but we have pulled through them ... to be honest ... my fear is how are we ever gonna end this "project"??? I mean the game release is just a punctuation mark ... the game still needs to be supported... patched ... etc ... and what about the "holy grail" a.k.a. WITP II ??? Not sure we will live we will live long enough to do all that needs doin' !!! [:D]

Most of the developers working on AE are younger than some of us, but most talented..

(They can eat when they're done!).[:D]

Of course, the real reason for this is that the entire group actually consists of our patented "Brain-in-a-Jar"(R) Virtual Wargame Development Team. They're all happy in their own virtual realities, unaware that they are actually mere inches from one another, floating in a special protective fluid. [;)]

Word on the street is Terminus was caught doing shots of the fluid and that is why he retired from his position.
