Just tried Bootcamp 8 (Where Did That Come From?) scenario. WOW![&o]

After being ambushed again and again by 45mm ATGs and constantly harassed by unseen snipers, patrols and ATRs, I have to say I love the new concealment feature. Call me a masochist, but this is way cool. [;)] And this ought to help the AI to be even more competitive.

Great job and thanks to all those who worked on 1.03.

Happy to hear you liked it! I certainly enjoyed designing it!

Are you using the document at all? If so, is it informative?

Hi Jason

If by "document" you mean the "Bootcamp Scenario Overview" file located in the Manuals folder, then yes, I read through all of them. And they seem to explain the new features clearly, at least to me. One thing I did notice: it says that ATRs and small ATGs have a 50% chance to remain hidden after firing, but it doesn't mention anything about snipers. I think you stated elsewhere that some units other than ATGs and ATRs would receive this bonus: units like snipers, patrol/scout, etc.

If not, then I must not be very observant. [>:] Because it sure seemed like the bullets were flying in every direction with hardly an enemy to be seen.

Again, many thanks. I think it must be time for me to go build a bridge.
