Just started a new DCG. I liked the 1.02 addition of the command platoons, and now leaders for each company and battalion. That is cool.

Simovitch has a great article on DCGs that is included in the 1.03 patch under the Manual Folder.  For anyone who has played a DCG or was thinking of playing a DCG, that article will be very helpful.  DCGs are not as random as I had thought, and the process of putting together a DCG requires a lot more thought that I had suspected.  I can tell there are a lof of DCG players out there, and for them, Simovitch's article would be a gold mine.  I wanted to talk it up because it deserves the attention, and, if you're like me, you wouldn't necessarily stumble on it unless someone pointed it out.

I have seen the article, printed it and started it. I am reading the updated manual currently, and when I am done will read the rest of the article.

There are definately some neat features in the updated DCG's. I have played about 8 scenerios in my Current DCG. No Security platoons for the germans yet, but my armour battalion is getting 105 support.

There seems to be lots of Russian 2 SP MG plattons around, and I like the Russian artillery tanks.
