I start the program and everything goes good untill it loads the opening menu and all i get is a black screen with music playing. The opening videos play fine untill the start menu.
The funny thing is that when i first installed the game I was able to get thru and look around a bit.
The second time I tried a couple days later I have this problem.
I have updated my video drivers. uninstall and reinstall program but no help.
Just for grins I tried to load another Gary Grigsby game ( World at War) and I now have the same problem with that.
So some common file is missing. Maybe a windows file.
I have included my Dxdiag.
Thanks.

I'm not very good at looking at dxdiag reports, but maybe Erik or someone will see a problem there. If you want, you can email me at 2by3@2by3games.com and I can send you a debug version we are sending to people are that are getting crashes. Your's isn't exactly a crash, but it might be worth trying.

A little bit more info for yall.
I uninstalled again this time I deleted the game folder to.
Reinstalled and the game starts in windowed mode and
everything runs fine. I set to full screen exit then
restart and the same problem. I hope this
helps. Thanks again.

Sounds like something is getting set wrong in the preferences if it loads up full screen. I don't see a major problem in your DxDiag, your sound drivers are a little older but shouldn't be a problem.

If you reinstall and run it in windowed mode without switching to full screen, does it keep working?

I think I fixed My problem.
I had changed the 3d settings on
my video card control panel
from "let the program control 3d settings' to
"let me control 3d settings". I went back
and changed it to "let the program control 3d settings"
and now it works ok.
Thanks for the help.

Wayne
