Where's Robert in all this?

He's one of the Brothers I was specifically curious about.

You didn't feel the disturbance in The Schwartz?

Survey time.  I know Historiker is having problems downloading AE, and Niceguy has said he will hold off for a bit.

Are there any other Thread Brothers who do not yet have AE?

Yep... Two nights ago it appeared that downloading it via my dialup would take 27 hours, so last night I left a flash drive on the work computer to download it, but this morning the installation failed due to a corrupt file. Dang it! Especially because today is my only day off until next weekend, so it would have been nice to mess with AE.

I will probably have to wait until my disk arrives, but I will try again at work tomorrow night (I can't do it during the day because we use the internet connection too heavily during the workday).

Off season, off ice workout camp. [;)]

A hockey rink is actually a rather pleasant place to be in NC in July. [:D]

USSAmerica -> RE: THE THREAD!!! (7/30/2009 2:30:38 AM)

Looks like time to read some more AE manual, now that I can play with all the buttons and knobs at the same time.  [:)]

BrucePowers -> RE: THE THREAD!!! (7/30/2009 2:31:44 AM)

Ya know, in northern New York mind you, at my high school we turned off the refrigeration and turned the ice rink into an indoor track in March[:D]

USSAmerica -> RE: THE THREAD!!! (7/30/2009 3:06:32 AM)

2 years ago, in early November, we went up to Lake Placid for a hockey tournament.  Great time!  The olympic speed skating oval is outdoors there, and was not yet frozen up for the winter.  It looked like it would make a good, if hard surfaced, track.  [:)]

That's about 2 hours from where I grew up. Go west until you get to the St Lawrence River.

I will probably DL it this weekend when I get back to my DSL connection at home. This cellular card is just too slow.
