1. Is there any way to simply stop one of your units from firing (once you give them the fire command) other than having to make them move slighlty? You can't simply de-select the fire command....which seems like that would be useful...

2. Is there any quick way to tell...where at on the map a firefight has broken out at?

1. Use ambush or defend command.
2. By "taking cover from enemy fire" and "enemy spotted" messages.

Also - I think a good addition (meet in the middle type solution) to the current pathing issues and firing from buildings - Outside of simply installing Capt patch (which allows for firing through buildings).....would be to allow that with most buildings.....but also have the option of creating certain "fortified" buildings where firing into them isn't possible...(yet, most other buildings are).

Another question - How can you tell if an enemy vehicle has been destoryed? It seems like there should be more wreckage -

Run your mouse cursor over the vehicle and look to the bottom of your screen where you would normally check on the status of your own unit.

You would see "Destroyed Team" or something to that effect if it's blown up.
