As far as I know, motorized leaders have never been able to enter rough hexes. Which does suck a bit.

I recently had a PzIII retreat into a rough hex with 1.03

I suspect concerns for damage to equipment, and other considerations are subject to re-evaluation when certain motivators are hot on your tail.  We are all aware that a unit with no movement left can meander quite a distance when combat results dictate. [:)]

Just a guess but I'd wager motorised units (wheeled), are the only ones that cannot enter rough terrain.....

Tracked vehicles can enter rough hexes, wheeled vehicles including motorized leaders can't. IMO this should be changed so that motorized leaders can acces rough hexes just as they can enter rubble hexes. In short: motorized leaders should be able to enter all hexes that infantry can enter.

Thanks for the refresher. That turn I had tried to move a leader into a rough hex with inf in it. Must have been a leader in a wheeled vehicle. Then I was surprised when the Pz retreated into another rough hex.
