dakjck -> Thank you (7/30/2008 3:21:28 PM)

Yesterday I started playing Union v. AI at 4:00 p.m and did not stop until 1:30 a.m. It has been a long time since a game compelled me to play like that. And I only made it to May 1863. I still have several hours to go and cannot wait to get back to it (unfortunately real life will impinge on me tonight, so I must wait until tomorrow to resume).

I just wanted to say thanks for a great game. Sure, I have some quibbles, such as the frequent rail passenger miles Robert E. Lee seems to be accruing. One turn he defends Memphis, the next Staunton, then Murfreesboro. Longstreet seems to be a distant second. But, on balance, I love the subject, the choices and the infuriating initiative problems (I wonder how any corps can sit for months without doing anything until I remember Bermuda Hundred).

Thanks again for an excellent game.

Can only agree.
I´m highly enjoying to play this game.
Good that you cannot see me sitting infront of my pc, when a major battle is resolved.
Nailbiting I watch, how my troops performance, often jubilating ("yes!"), when they were able to score a hit on our opponents. (ähm, I will not tell, what i say, if things went bad to us. [;)] )
Great entertainment. Thx

Hello, I would also like to add that I really enjoy this game a lot. It combines the right amount of large scale action and while it is quite complex in terms of what choices you have it isn't too tedious.

Watching the batle screen and being unhappy any time I see a chance over 50 % not happening :( Really nice.

Thank to the developers and designers !
