Marshall,
I know you are working on different things with the map, but I was wondering about the possibility of a button that would take a screenshot of the whole map and save it to the computer somewhere. I could see myself usng that a lot in a PBEM game (Im already thinking about it in ours) and it seems like it would be a useful tool. I realize trying to view the whole map would lose some fine detail, but sometimes I just want to zoom out and take a greater overview of everything going on rather than flying around the whole map while trying to piece together the landscape in my head.
