Champagne -> Unit Commitment to Combat. (8/18/2008 10:30:07 PM)

I've read and re-read the manual with regard to unit commitment into combat, but, I'm still not sure how it works relative to units and leaders entering a combat region using Reaction Movement. For example, let's say that the combat region is Manassas. The Union AC and six Ucs move into Manassas against four Confederate Ucs. All Ucs have combat units attached to them. Robt. E. Lee is adjacent to Manassas and Reaction Moves there with three Ucs with attached units. Question 1: If Lee and his three Ucs have Initiative, does Lee help all or any of the Confederate combat units in combat? Question 2: If neither Lee nor his three Ucs have Initiative, does Lee help all or any of the Confederate combat units in combat?
