Its a given that we can not really simulate history Whatever comes down the pipe will be good, no doubt. The biggest thing I miss in these games is something to offset the benefit of hindsight we all have. I have thought about this quite a bit, but I suppose it only means adding "a historical" changes to make it happen. To me "some randomness" is not enough. Cheers, --Mikko This is an interesting point. What is history and what makes it what it was? You could say random events and luck. Gary G's game WbtS uses these two factors to great extent. Yes it is easy for us to say what should or should not have been done at any point in history, but it is another thing to try to remove hindsight from a game. WbtS does as a good a job as possible in removing this factor whichis a pointin its favor to being a good game. Madgamer
