Ok, I don’t know if this fits in here but…

…I have been toying around with the sound files and I noticed a bunch of unknown files like air raid sirens, trumpets and some music.
Cute… :)

Anyway, I’m a bit curious as to how important you all think the sound is? Also if you have done any modifications to the sound?
Personally I think the different sounds are one of the big charms with SPWAW but I hear some people like to turn the sound off when playing?

Also, I think the German FG42 and the StG44 (MP44?) is the same, so I made three additional wav´s if there is anyone who would like some new sounds for the StG44.

Thanks! :)

I wouldn't enjoy the game as much without the battle sounds, though I keep the music and weather turned off. And IMHO the German Gew 41\43 needs a better sound (it's the same as the US Johnson rifle), but I kind of like the StG 44's. My troops definitely don't like hearing it though. I look forward to trying your new sounds, thanks.

When playing PBEM I constantly start SPWAW, load, play, quit, star SPWAW again etc.

It is annoying when the music changes all the time (though the music is good). Therefore I normally switch off sounds and hear something else in the background.

I would like to have the sound on if it weren't for the constant quitting/multitasking etc.

Sounds are very important to me as a player, its the imersion factor! Most of the time I have the music off or real low, but then again at other times I just have to crank it! It depends on the battle and my mood as far as the music gos. ;)
