I haven't seen this problem posted but maybe I missed it. When using the editor to look at maps, after the third or fourth map, I get a black game screen. I can see the map in the view window in the lower R/H corner, but the map screen is black, mouse is frozen, can't even control-alt-delete. Have to hit the reset button and wait for scan disk to run since I didn't "do a normal shutdown". After rebooting, it will do OK for awhile, but after several map views it will hang again.
My system:
AMD 1.3 Athlon
512M memory
19 Gig HD with 16 Gig free
MX400 video Card
Sound Blaster 16 PCI card
Direct X 8.0
Windows 98 2nd Edition
I have a suspision that it is memory related. It seems to be worse when I have had the puter running for extended periods without rebooting
Any ideas, or has anyone else had this happen.
