Just setting up a first turn as Japan (CHS, 1.806 patch) and was merrily filling up Japanese fighter units up to strength when I noticed that the actual replacements aren't being reflected in the pilot pool numbers. Will my numbers come down once the first turn goes through? Or will I still have full pilot pools therefore gaining a lot of pilots for free?

Nope. First turn replacements are "free" (both sides). Fill them up! (historical first turn doesnt get this)
