WitPTracker: install help, please? (Full Version)

In preparation for AE, I am trying to install WitPTracker. Now that I am at the start/run command line, what does this instruction mean? "then type cmd for the Open: item)." [&:]

Once some kind soul helps me solve this problem, I might be able to make sense out of the next instruction: "In there, change directory to the new folder and run the program from there by entering WitPTracker."

I admit this is definitely a rookie question, but I plead advanced age (with much of the computer ignorance that age implies). Thanks you your help.[&o]

You would be better off asking for help in the WITP forum.

WitPTracker is not a Matrix program.

I am one of the co-creators of Tracker. Quickly the procedure is thus:-
1. Make sure you have Java installed.
2. Download and extract Tracker.
3. Set up your witptracker.properties file
4. drag the savefile into the tracker folder
5. double click the witptracker.bat file

If the program quickly exits then you probably haven't set 3 properly or don;t have 1 installed. Otherwise
look in at the forum area under my signature for more help and explanation...
