07/28/2015 As i had to change the provider all older links are not more valid. My tools for Maximum Football are now available as 32 bit and 64 bit package. 64 bit version 32 bit version ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Original Message My latest tool is now available. I will also upload the file to FBMax ? What can you expect ? Here is the Help text: Maximum Football Stat Viewer is a utility for "Maximum Football 2.2". "Maximum Football" is a PC football games which is published by Matrix Games (http://www.matrixgames.com) and was developed by David Winter (http://www.maximum-football.com). The Stat Viewer requires a version of "Maximum Football version 2.2". When you have still the first version you will get a free a upgrade by Matrix. You will also need Microsoft Net Framework 3.5 which is available here Microsoft Net Framework 3.5 How to create a Report ? 1. After the utility is opened you will find at the top a tool strip button. From left you will see the following buttons: a) Load League To activate all other settings you have at first load a league database. When the utilty has sucessfully opened a league database the league name will be displayed. b) Clear Reset all settings. Now you can load an other league. When you have a league already loaded and you want create a report from an other league a reset is required. c) Options You can select between the following settings: Canadian Rules: 4th Down, Rouge (default: no selection) Pass Rating Method: NFL (default), College, AFL Reports: csv, xml (default: no selection) d) Help You will see this text. 2. To create a Report you have to go the following steps: (1.) Load a league file. (2.) Select a Team or a Player. In the Player modus you have the option to select positions and filter only qualified players (Qualifiers). A qualifier is determinated based on NFL criterias and season length. Not relevant are the games played in the current season. So at the start of the season almost no player will have qualified stats. This also true for playoff stats. Qualified stats are available only for Passing, Rushing, Receiving, Punting and any kind of Returns (special teams). (3.) Select a season. If you want playoff stats of year check the box. Playoffs have no all time stats. (4.) Select a report. Team and Player have different stats because the game records not all stats in every modus. Maxiumum Football will show you only some offense game stats but no stats about passing or any other category. The additional reports i have extracted from the database. Even when only one report is possible you still have to select the report. (5.) Now the "Go" button should be acitivated. When you have select option to report the result as csv or xml you will now see the default report screen. The file is created and stored in the league folder and has the same name like the onscreen report. This report will be closed only when you cancel it. You can now create additional reports. In a csv or xml report qualifiers are not considered because of technical reasons. You will get the full table. What can i do with Report ? a) A user can modify the onscreen report in the following manner: - resize columns and rows - order columns - delete rows - select rows (even multiple rows) and copy and paste these reports in other programms (Word, Open Office Writer etc). When you copy a row every time all columns are automatically included. In Open Office you can e.g. now create a simple table and print the table later, make a html file or make even a pdf file. b) Load the csv file in Excel or similar programm so you can create a table. The separator is a ";" (semicolon) because commas are already used in names. c) The xml file must be transformated into xsl so that later you can create a html page. At the moment i have no clue about html so i can not deliver such a function. Additional Notes The only disadavantage i see when you compare the Stat Viewer with the in-game stats display is that retired players are not marked. This feature was intended for All Time reports but as it had required a huge operation in the structure of the code and that`s why removed. Sometimes you will see a Passer Rating of -1. That should never happen because a rating of 0 is the bottom level. It occurs only when a player has one record in the passing table but no pass attempts. Even in this case he should have "zero" rating but the code ignores it. The problem is too mariginal to stop a release. The tool is freeware. To use it in a commercial context you need before my written approval. The tool can be hosted by every private webpage (if someone really want) but you need mention me as author (Matrix Username). When you want contact me then you can find me on the Matrix Games Forum as "Tullius". Here you can also drop a e-mail or PM. I have to thank the Beta crew of Maximum Football for their help. To illustrate the possebilities here are some screens. The first screen shows a typical players page. [image]local://upfiles/14669/DD6782AF65D5466AB7868217EA97965E.jpg[/image]
