Okay. Where are the screen shots stored?

Hey Hawspipe,
Not surprisingly, VSWG has this info posted on one of his links. It's not in his Must Read section, but if you look towards the end of his list of AARs, he gives you step by step instructions on how to capture and save screenshots using a couple of different utilities. As to where they save, that's your choice. Either pick or create a folder, and that's where they'll end up. Good luck - Alex.

In the ctrl-V buffer. Alt-[print screen] to take the pix, then go into paintbrush (or whatever) and hit cntrl-V

Hit the "Print Screen". Open your favourite image program (I use irfanview which is free) then go to File | paste. You can then manipulate your image before storing it in your favourite location.

ok did some screen shots and saved them in 8 bit using paint. The size though is 800kb. How do I reduce this? Any ideas thanks.

Best and easiest way i know of is to download a free program IRFANVIEW - this has good (great?) resizing options, and also makes it very easy to crop pics as well.

EDIT - oops - i see Sprior has also recommended the same program. Well, it is excellent. [8D]

I push the "print screen" button and then paste into a power point slide. You might be able to save as a .jpg and get it to work.
