After setting my resolution to 1920x1200 in the options, the game does not enter that resolution. It resizes to a slightly higher resolution upon starting a scenario, but certainly not to 1920x1200, nor even to a widescreen resolution. Is there somewhere to change the resolution manually?

Edit: I checked the registry entries and they state 1920x1200 as well.

I can set mine to 1920x1200 and it seems to work.

The UI is locked at 1024x768 as the graphics stretch out in an unsightly manner.

Once you hit the battle map you should see the difference.

I'm sorry if I wasn't clear, this is on the battle maps. I'll check the actual resolution (plus screen shots!) and get back momentarily.

Here we are at 1280x1024

tiohn,

I noticed that the resolution sometimes changes based on the size of the map. If the map in either direction is less than 1920 or 1200 it will drop the resolution for that one map.

Andrew Williams -> RE: Resolution Error (10/29/2008 3:36:30 AM)

yes, that's right.

if the map in question is smaller than your resolution settings it will "fall back" to the required resolution  and then reset at your selected resolution when you move onto a larger map.

But you will notice in my screenshot there that this is not the case. The entire map is not being displayed in either dimension.

Edit: Ok, it is displaying at the proper resolution on larger maps. However, it still isn't displaying correctly on that smaller one.
