Up until the latest Windows updates my laptop has run the games( versions 1.2,1.3, and 1.4) under Vista just fine...tried the Compatability cures and none worked...updated my comp yesterday ( Nov 12 2008) I also shut down my Anti virus to no avail...YIKES (Also tried to send this to support all I gat was an error message)

Maybe try reinstalling the 1.04 UPDATE? Error 486 is a registry and serial issue. Jason Petho
