Like to hear what other players do prefer, playing with time limit on or off. I for myself have the one goal: To keep fighting as the Confederacy until the British join in, even if that might take years .. Thats why I have no time limit enabled, and regarding victory points I think the South could have won already, but I keep going on, waiting for the British to enter ..
Anyone else playing way past the historical enddate?!

I always start out with the intent of getting both France and Britain into the war and building my all-cav army...
Then I "get into the Confederate mood", and then the war ends [8|]

I always find the British to be not too much help (the few times I've gotten them to enter), they have a severe lack of containers.

ahhh

when you think they are going to come in, make some (of course, I tend to have areas close to Canada to build them)
