Kaliber -> Gas problem (12/13/2008 3:02:02 PM)

Another point worth mentioning that also showed up during my recent game against Boogada: I had gas lvl 2 with all attacks unspent. For some reason I loaded an artillery unit with gas without spending it. In one of the following turns, I developped gas lvl 3 and thus lost all my lvl 2 gas attacks. I hadn't expected to develop lvl 3 so soon. The point is: I found that the art unit that had previously been loaded with lvl.2 poison gas was still loaded - and this time with lvl 3 gas. Had I known this, I could have loaded all 4 lvl.2 gas attacks, waited for lvl. 3, and then lauched my offensive. The TE would have lost Paris for sure if I had 8 lvl. 3 gas attacks to spend. I feel this is a problem. Also, when a hex is contested (as was the case for Paris), you get a the gas box ticked even if you didn't lauch a gas attack that particular impulse. This seems to last for the whole duration of a turn - until the attack is rebuffed or until the nexrt strat phase. I don't know if it was effective, though, since I didn't notice my opponent loosing a lot of readiness.
