It wasn't too long ago that offensive linemen played at about 250-290 lbs, linebackers at 210-230 lbs, and defensive linemen at about 235-280 lbs.
Hall of Famer Allen Page played at 240 lbs. Deacon Jones played at 272 lbs.
Linebacker Jack Lambert played at about 220 lbs.
Offensive tackle, Ron Yary played at 255 lbs, and is a Hall of Fame player. Offensive linemen under 290 lbs are now rare.
