1. Changed all 50 Cal and 12.7 AAMGs ranges to match their HMG, Quad, and Twin version Counter parts. Before, the HMGs could outrange the AA units, and also the Quad and Twins ranges did not match the single barrel versions. 2. Some nations 30 cal AA stats did not match, went thru and made sure they all matched 3. Norway weapon #139 (7.92 M29 AA Gun) was missing any kind of stats, all were at zero. checked, and this weapon is used by an actual unit in Norway, so copied stats from another nation and fixed. 4. Netherlands Bratt Spaa car had carry capacity of 15 while also carrying 50 Cal and 2 twin AAMGs reduced carry Cap to 2 5. German Volksturm group was size 2, thought this was fixed in 2008, but missed it. Changed to size 1 6. Made 'Waffentrupp' available for purchase seperately, other than only in SS Rifle Company, and also added same type unit to Soviet OOB. 7. Returned one German Recon Gruppe back to the way it was in the old days, with AT mine added as weapon, Soviets have similar type unit as well. 8. Soviet "Guards" formation date was different than "Guard" units start date, fixed so both match 9. Added a 'Guards' SMG unit 10. Soviet Union Jeeps carry capacity increased to 105 to match other nations jeeps of same type. Thought this was done in 2008 but musta missed it. 11. Adjusted speed of the 2 Chinese Bi Planes that were faster than a P51 Mustang. Thought this had been done in 2008 but was somehow missed too. 12. C. Chinese DP lmg stats and sound differed from Soviet DP lmg, changed to match. 13. C. China Captured type 22 Armored car had 4 weapons and 3 crew, added one crew member. 14. Japan units 56, 57, and 58 have had their weapons rearranged, the x5 weapons remain as these are assault units and actually need them. 15. Reworked some German infantry classes and units. Previously a "Rifle Platoon" (also applies to Kompanies) included units called "Scheutzen GRP" and "Grenadier Grp" (DVRN version names). Now more Schuetzen GRP units have been added and also have created a second class of units called Grenadier Grp (Armored Infantry class), assigned specifically to mechanized formations. Generally these Grenadier units will have better weapons, but not always. Doing this created a whole new class of German infantry. To achieve this the "SS MMG" units were replaced. The formation the MG units were attached to gave them their elite status, not the 'SS' in their title, so having another set of MMG units called "SS" was really a waste anyway. also this required reduction of Special Ops units from 3 types to 2 types. 16. Copied some 'Primary infantry' weapons into open slots and classed them as 'secondary infantry', so if they appear in slot other than weapon slot 1, code reacts more correctly.these were issued to units who had Prime infantry weapons in slots 2-4, many units had primary infantry weapons listed in slots 2-4, hopefully this results in 'lower carnage.' For the most part these were Pistols, SMGs, and Rifles. 17. Early war Fallschirmjaeger weapon #4 changed from Pistol to SMG (secondary Inf classed weapon) (also one FJ unit was given G41/43 rifle for flavor) 18. noticed error in "Volks" formations, Plt went to 45, Kompanie went to 49. Fixed so both match. 19. Added "Faustpatrone" weapon to German arsenal. Production of it's successor, the Panzerfaust 30, had already begun by the time of the first deliveries. Still, the small and simple Faustpatrone klein was kept in production well into 1945 20. German Tank and Armored Car Platoons had incorrect number of units in them, raised to correct numbers. 21-25 effect the British OOB. also Canada concerning #21. 21. Moved the "Home Guard Sec" and "Northover Projector" units to CANADA, added the "2.5in Northover" weapon, and added the "Home Guard" formation to Canada. 22. Added ".303 Lewis MG" weapon; current MMG unit using the LMG version, with lower HE Kill value. MG version is the tripod-mount Team Weapon, with HE Kill of "8". 23. Changed availability date for one "Rifle Section" unit to June 1940; this unit has the Mk.1 Grenade Launcher. Will give more variety to British infantry formations in the 1940-42 period. 24. Added the "Blenheim IV" light bomber unit; carries 1000lb bombload (4 250lb bombs). Available Jan 1939-1942. 25. Added "Boston III" light-medium bomber unit; carries 2000lb bombload (4 500lb bombs). Available July 1940-1943. 26. Corrected weapon stats for .303, 7.92 Besa, .50 Vickers, and 15mm Besa MG weapons; ranges and Pen values were not equal between AA and vehicle/ground weapons, and some not correct between OOBs. 27. Further corrections to US-made .30cal and .50cal weapons, mainly vehicle mounts. 28. Removed a Log MG Bunker fort in UK OOB and replaced with Rifle Section unit with No.68 ATRG weapon. 29. Adjusted date for Type 28a Pillbox in UK OOB to July 1942; was July 1940, but armed with 6pdr ATG that isn't avail. until May 1942. 30. Fixed Type 92 AC in JA OOB: main weapon was Vickers MG, should be Type 97 MG. 31. Fixed Type 22 AC in NC OOB: should be Type 92, stats, main weapon, and icon wrong. Fixed per Japan. 32. Fixed Cpt Type 22 AC in CC OOB: should be Type 92, stats, main weapon, and icon wrong. Fixed per Japan. 33. Fixed Cpt 95 Ha-Go in CC OOB: armour stats were wrong. Fixed per Japan. 34. Changed Mercedes-Benz utility car to Horch Kfz70 utility car. Added new LBM. 35. Fixed wrong entry date for PzKpfw II F; was appearing in 1940, not built until March 1941. 36. Fixed some truck units in GK OOB: wrong icons, stats, pics. 37. Gave all Bren Carriers (except those mounting ATGs) the "smoke discharger" ability; they were armed with a 2in mortar for generating smoke screens. To do this required adding a new weapon to most OOBs; the game will not allow a unit without a weapon in Slot#1 to have a discharger, and some of the Carriers had only the BMG. The weapon is a copy of the 2in Mortar, classed as a Secondary Weapon, and is given no ammo. It will not operate as a mortar, but it has the same stats, so designers can give it ammo if they wish. Additionally, renamed all 2in mortars to a more correct nomenclature: 2in MkII SBML, 2in MkII* SBML (Brens only), and 2in MkVII* SBML (airborne version). 38. Fixed AOP Carrier in PO OOB; armour stats were wrong. Corrected per UK. 39. Fixed AOP Carrier class issue in BE OOB; was classed as FO Vehicle, not Track FO Vehicle. 40. reworked some formations and units in Japanese OOB 41. Engineers will now no longer be the Flamethrower carrying units (with historical excpetions like Italian Gustatori Flame teams). FT teams will be seperate AT classed units in most cases found in Inf-AT formations, and some others here and there. 42. POLAND: Polish ATR units were not showing up in Inf AT formations, they were miscoded with a 3 code, fixed so they now show up, also one Inf AT formation had wrong start date. Many errors found in Poland, missing Plt HQ units, Cav AT gun formations with the "cav" part not showing up...Motor HMG formation, only the "motor" part is showing up...Lt mortars not showing up in Lt Mortar sections, and others..........many LBMs were/are wrong. also reworked some units and formations. 43. all Engineer Classed units reworked big time, Standard Engineers will carry "Explosives" (Demo Kits), 'Assault', 'Armored' or 'Combat' Engineers (usually will use the Armored Engineer Class) will carry varying types of weapons. Have therefore created some new units so players will in most cases, have two types of Engineers or Commando type units to choose from. 44.. HE ammo removed from Satchel Charges. "Explosives", which will now be issued to some Engineer and Commando units, retains HE ammo, with reduced ammo loads from 6-8 before to to maybe 4 now, however, alternative Commando and Engineer units will also be issued Satchel Charges giving the player 2 types to choose from.(see # 43) This also required tweaking the stats for "Explosives" (formerly 'Demo Kit') and Satchel charges to ensure Explosives could be used all types of Bunkers, but not be overly deadly to infantry. 45. Unit 219 (Cavalrie) in Free France, had 50 grenades and only 5 rounds for its BAR, corrected this. to 50 rounds for BAR, 5 Grenades. 46. Belgium: unit 027 4.2inch mortar can not be available before October 1942 - the date they were first used in British army - and probably not availabe to Belgian forces until June 1944. 47. Nat Spain: unit 016 PzI/20 should have 20mm Breda gun. The Breda gun in the game is weapon 150 20mm M35 AA. Also, since only 4 of these tanks were built, the rarity changed to '2'. 48. The Spains: Nat Spain Crewman had "Misc Small Arms" in slot 1, should be slot 2 as are all other 'crewman' thruout oobs, also found a few units with wrong ammo loadouts in Both Spains, and all names translated back to English for DVRN version, except for a few names left in for flavor that are easily discernable, like Mortero for Mortar..etc etc..Both Dv and DVRN versions were "translated' in 2008, 49. Thruout the OOBs, a few name changes have taken place, for example, MMG Squad will now be MG squad, No need for the "medium" part, as "Heavy" MGs will retain the H in HMG.... Also, things like 'Log' Rifle Pit, will now be simply 'Rifle Pit', and Heavy' Bunker, will now be simply 'Bunker', etc etc...hopefully this will add a little to "fog of war." theres more than just these 2 listed, just used these as examples. 50. In Nations where there was room, and there was an available engineer unit class was not being used, Engineer platoon leaders were created, and added to Engineer formations, and on another note, returned size of some Plt HQ units to more historical numbers. 51. Did alot of formation renaming, tried to use full name where they would fit in charter limit instead of abbreviations, I.E. ' Rifle Platoon' as opposed to 'Rifle Plt', 'Tank Section' as opposed to 'Med Tank Sec', 'AA Gun Battery' as opposed to "AA Gun Bty" etc etc....Trying to get rid of the word "medium" thruout formation and unit names, as in, "medium tank', 'medium truck', 'Medium MG' and so on. 52. Unit #25 in Bulgaria had HE AND AP ammo and it should not have had any AP ammo, removed and repriced. 53. Reduced range of Thompson and Reising SMG's as per evidence found from 4 hexes to 3 54. Added .30 cal M1919 "Stinger" LMG to USMC arsenal, issued to one squad type 55. found alot of Light Mortar Teams had different "sizes" some were size 0, some were size 1, adjusted all to size 0 except for the 60mm Mortar with 4 men crew or above. or any light mortar teams or sqauds with 4 men or more, found a few of these. 56. Greece FO team was set to size 2, changed to size 0 57. Changed numerous "spelling' and nomentclature inconsistancies thruout units in all oobs, some had units called 75mm how Bty, while below it was 105mm FH Btry, other had entitre named spelled out, 75mm Howitzer, others had 75mm FH. tried to make more consistant thruout, at least per OOB, also thing like Fwd Obs, and Forward Observer, Armd, and Arm'd, Guerrilla, and Guerilla, Asslt and Ass'lt. Things like this DR Oregon and his team spotted and listed. 58. The German Flak 18 AT Gun. The FlaK version of this gun can be unloaded and fired in same turn (intentional BTW), and this unit could not, plus these units had exact same stats as far as the weapon stats, so why would one buy the AT version then? So it was replaced with a German unit from Norway OOB 59. Some OObs had units and weapons listed in Centimeters AND Milimeters. In trying to be consistant, it was much simpler to change the 'cm' ones to 'mm', than it would be the other way around as there were far more 'mm' ones already. 60. Norway formation 1168 "Drgn MG Sqdrn" had mortar units instead of the intended MG units, corrected. 61. Added the new 'explosion', fence and Infantry graphics which lahtinen recently updated. 62. Tracer (JimNSB) Discovered the original SPWAW stone (single hex) buildings had been replaced. Since the old and new sets each have 80 icons, and an SHP can hold ~250, he created a new set of Ter27 SHPs containing all 160 buildings. 63. Gave all Pack Mules, Mule Packs, Mule Pack ammo carriers, etc etc... a water speed of 1. Cavalry horses have it so figured Pack Mules should as well. 64. Standardized speeds of Wagons, Gun teams, Cavalry, Mule Packs, Horses. Some off the wall speeds were found for some of these units. Speeds seemed to vary here and there from oob to oob. 65. Rep Spain... this oob had some oddly priced units, entire Squads for only 2 points is just one example, in looking closer it was noticed alot of the Rates of Fire have been fudged, thus drastically effecting the price. Another example of somone in the past not knowing what the code calls. Also some formations has some errors as well, and unit classes. Overall, just tried to clean this oob up some. 66. Changed start and end dates for German Sdkfz 252 ammo carrier as per evidence found, also removed the MG34 BMG for same reason. 67. Adjusted prices of Cavalry LMG units, this goes back to same reason for adjusting the motorcycle LMG units, code was severly overpricing them due to the fact the LMG in slot one is classed as Prime infantrry weapon. Only a couple nations had these units. 68. Japanese Knee Mortar units have been adjusted, You now have the KM 2 man teams as before, which are basically indirect fire units, plus now the Knee Mortar 'Squads', which are large Squads which previously had indirect and direct fire mortars and was kind of confusing and not really sure they worked or were used quite correctly. They now have 3 'indirect fire'only Knee mortars as weapons (plus Riflesx5) and can be found in Assault Company Formation. The weapons are classed as secondary infantry to insure they are not fired by everyman in the squad. 69. Japan had several different types and also simply differently spelled SNLF formations showing up (I.E. SNLF 'Co' and SNLF 'Company') These have been changed so they are all spelled the same with plus's(+) or minus's(-) to easier distinguish between them. 70. Japan Guerrilla formations had mismatched dates from formations to units so often the formation would appear in buy screen but was unclickable, corrected this 71. Japan: Added Pack Mule and Wagon 'Sections' so one would not be forced to buy group of 4 only. 72. Japan x5 Rifles were using LMG sound, changed to a multiple firing rifle sound 73. Added a few new sounds and also assigned a different sound or two to specific weapons. 74. Numerous new or updated ENC and PIC files added.
