I don't know how TOAW calculate Loss Penalty, can someone explain this?
I'm so surprise that my Loss Penalty is much higher than my opponent while my loss rate is really less than enemy.I'm puzzled completely,I've tried many ways to explain this result but I'm sure only guess is not helpful.[8|]

Is this the loss penalty you're talking about? If so, I have no idea how it's calculated either. I'd be interested to hear someone speak to this issue as well.

The loss penalty is based upon the difference in cumulative equipment AP between what your total force (on and off map) had at the start of the scenario and its current total. This is then scaled relative to the total on-map VPs in some fashion.

This means that losing high AP equipment (like artillery and heavy bombers) is more costly than losing low AP equipment (like trucks and fighters). It also means that disbanding units will cause a bump up in the penalty, until the disbanded equipment is re-distributed back onto the on-map forces. It also means that replacements reduce the penalty as they are distributed to on-map forces. So a force with comparably higher replacement rates can suffer higher real losses yet have a lower loss penalty.

So what does it actually do after all that?

Copy that.
Thanks![;)]

?? The enemy loss penalty is added to your victory total and the friendly loss penalty is subtracted from it. There is also an event trigger based upon it.
