I was fooling around in WitP stock last night for the first time in ages, and realised that I'd forgotten some of the keyboard shortcuts. Okay, so I can (and did) go look them up - but it made me wonder: are there any additions to, or changes to, the keyboard shortcuts currently in the stock game?

Steve.

Yes

Chuckle. That's what I get for not asking an open-ended question. You enjoyed that, didn't you? [;)]

Okay, a re-phrase.

What are the additions to, or changes to, the keyboard shortcuts in AE vs the Stock game?

Not sure, but I think some of the "next/previous" type hot keys were alread put into late updates to stock WITP:

> Next Task Force with TF screen shown
< Previous TF with TF screen shown
. (unshifted >) Next Task Force without TF screen shown
, (unshifted <) Previous TF without TF screen shown

These four all work based on the settings of the Task Force List (hot key "t"). If you set the display on the Task Force List to Submarine TFs, for instance, they will move between submarine TFs, ignoring all others.

+ Next Base
- Previous Base

Nothing fancy here.

cntl-f Reduce main message delay during turn resolution
cntl-s Increase main message delay during turn resolution
cntl-p pause turn resolution

Does the game check the key or the character? On German (and Spanish, French, ...) keyboards, shift+, is ; and shift+. is :, not < resp. >. It's usually not very ergonomic to navigate with < and > (shift+<) on a German keyboard, ; and : would be better...

Questions are futile...as so many times said, there is no AE. [:D]

Questions are futile. It will all be assimilated when AE is released.
