Morning

If you want to drop them you need to buy tranports in the misc section of the purchase screen and load them[2 sqds per plane] then in the deploy screen there is a button for setting where and when you want them to drop in for tea. Look in the game manual as it will do a better job as how to use them.

Don is Goblin hunting;)

You can pack and drop anything that'll fit in the transport you purchase.

All transport units (air or ground) have a carry capacity rating (eg. 24, 112, 216). The last two numbers apply to the size of the unit to be transported, a '1xx' or a '2xx' indicates a much larger unit (usually a gun or vehicle)

Any unit that has a smaller carry cost than the transports carry capacity, will fit. (The British have some tanks that fit into gliders, and the Italians have a transport that can carry an entire platoon of paras)

Multiple Infantry units can be loaded up to the total carry capacity of the transport. But, IIRC, only a single gun or vehicle can be loaded, regardless of total carry capacity.

A gun/vehicle plus infantry can be loaded up to the carry capacity of the transport.

Gliders will crash land in a single hex with their entire passenger load. Air transport will paradrop units in reverse order to how they were loaded into the plane at deployment.

Good to know if you decide to parachute your A0.
