glozier -> Bug - Enforced Alliance Treaty Acceptance (3/8/2009 5:12:55 PM)
|
When a player proposes an 'Enforced Alliance' treaty, only the 'First Party' has to accept the treaty in order for it to be ratified. The 'Second Party' does not have a choice to accept or reject the treaty. In effect you can force an alliance upon any opponent. Maybe this should be called a ‘Forced Alliance’ treaty instead.[;)] I observe this when I propose 'Enforced Alliance' treaties with A.I. opponents. I am the ‘First Party’ and the A.I. is the ‘Second Party’ to the treaty. This always occurs. I even was able to use this to ally with all seven A.I.s using a single seven clause treaty.
