Coach Z -> Auto Upgrades? A6M2 to A6M3a? (3/21/2009 6:00:01 AM) Do A6M2 factories automatically upgrade to A6M3a's? All my A6M3 factories upgarded automatically within the first few days of Novemeber 1942, but so far none of my A6M2 factories have? Am I incorrect in assuming that they will auto upgrade?

Local Yokel -> RE: Auto Upgrades? A6M2 to A6M3a? (3/21/2009 2:17:51 PM) In stock, scenario 15, A6M2 production should upgrade to A6M3a during November 1942. Ditto for CHS scenarios 155 (standard) and 157 (Nik Mod), save that the upgrade occurs during September 1942. So far as I can see, looking at stock, A6M3 production upgrades to A6M5, but doesn't do so until September 1943. Is there something I'm missing here? [&:]

Japan -> RE: Auto Upgrades? A6M2 to A6M3a? (3/21/2009 3:44:57 PM) Some Times the Upgrades can take a while, ie. for me in my game my Val factories did not upgrade to Judys untill the 18th and 23rd of November 1943, but based on the Editor they should upgrade as of the 1st November 1943.

FeurerKrieg -> RE: Auto Upgrades? A6M2 to A6M3a? (3/21/2009 5:46:22 PM) They will upgrade, sometime takes a while. And A6M3 will stay as such until your Zeke's come online, then they will upgrade (along with the A6M3a factories). Which means - it isn't a total waste to expand your A6M3 factories early, because once the A6M3a is online, you can halt production on your M3, but you'll get plenty of use out of them a year later when the M5 comes out.
