KG Erwin -> Stones Rolling Again (5/29/2002 11:28:33 PM)

I guess most of you have heard by now that the Rolling Stones are embarking on a 40th Anniversary Tour beginning Sept. 5 in Boston and ending summer 2003 with stops in Europe, South America and for the first time, China. Yeah, I can hear the geriatric rocker jokes coming on, but don't forget that 3 of the top 5 grossing tours of all time where Stones tours. Number 1 (to date) was the 1994 Voodoo Lounge Tour, at $122 million. This is my all-time favorite group, so let them roll on.

Dan Keleher -> (5/30/2002 12:53:25 AM)

The Replacements
X
Sleater-Kinney
Shane MacGowan
Patsy Cline
Johnny Cash

...for starters...

I listen to most music, except for pop,HiPhop,techno, New Age, Rap and all electrical music.

Must have some Australian blood in me, gimme a good beer and a guitarist like Angus and I am satisfied.

KG Erwin -> Happy Birthdays to Charlie and Ronnie (6/1/2002 10:20:09 PM)

Ron Wood, the youngest member of the Stones, is 55 today. Charlie Watts will turn 61 tomorrow. Let's see, Mick will be 59(!) next month, and Keith turns 59 in December. Rock of ages, indeed.

I listen to the true punk band like The Ramones or Crass, not "punk" band like Blink. I also like Grunge with Nirvana being one of the best bands ever, but I also like psychedelic stuff like Pink Floyd.

Mojo -> (7/8/2002 4:17:22 AM)

Today it's the Cramps and Dead Milkmen.

Just in that kind of mood today.
