I think it's incumbent upon the developers/Matrix to provide its loyal customers and forum participants an update on the upgrade plans. We were all given the distinct impression that such an update was forthcoming in March, yet nary a word has been written here in going on four weeks concerning an upgrade.

What gives?

doomtrader -> RE: absence of info (4/2/2009 2:21:35 PM)

I know, we are little late with the annoucement.
You have waited really long and it's another time we are postponing information about it.

Please, give us a couple more days.
I really deeply belive that all who bought the game will be content

Joshuatree -> RE: absence of info (4/2/2009 3:29:42 PM)

Glad to hear about this myself. I was under the impression that the upcoming update has some major improvements... can't wait to see what it is.

Mike Parker -> RE: absence of info (4/2/2009 4:49:51 PM)

Thanks for the update Doomie.. looking forward to the patch

LarryP -> RE: absence of info (4/4/2009 7:04:01 PM)

I've been waiting a long time to start and finish the campaign. Good news! Thank you. [&o]

Is this: http://timeofwrath.com/ new game, or also a patch for Road to Victory?!

Looks promising [:D]

Chocolino -> RE: absence of info (4/6/2009 3:03:43 AM)

Interesting find, IS. The feature list looks almost one to one with RtV. The graphics looks updated and different. But if it is just a patch, why change the title? I'd be curious to learn about it from the developers.

Probably of marketing reasons - RtV was very "rough" game when it was first published, and received some (more or less deserved) bad press and comments, and I think doom and his team will try to relaunch it in "new" package [:)]

I`m curious, how does naval module looks after changes - there are no screenshots of it (nor weather effects on the map) [&:]

Hello All,

IS, great find or you have got access to good sources.

Time of Wrath is new realease from Wastelands Interactive.
We are really sorry but until April 16 we can't give you any information regarding both titles.

Joshuatree -> RE: absence of info (4/6/2009 10:20:01 AM)

What the... you are turning out faster games then I can play them. Looks nice to me anyway.

Time of Wrath

Welcome everybody.

At the beginning I would like to thank you all for so much support given to us for the last two years. Since that time we have gained a lot of experience and learned much more than we thought we could at the beginning of our adventure with game development. Every time I look back I'm more convinced that it was the best choice in my life. Combining passion with work is the best thing that can happened to somebody's career.

Keeping in mind that producing games requires constant improvement we are happy to announce that we are preparing for our first independent release. World War 2: Time of Wrath is a turn based strategy game made solely by Wastelands Interactive. With this release we have decided to combine simplicity of rules with deep reflection of historical military situation. We have designed World War 2: Time of Wrath in a way that will allow both novice and experienced players to find settings fitting their skills. Player can freely choose difficulty level and countries he will control during the game. Also basing on our own gaming experiences, we have decided that the game should give modders as much freedom as possible, so almost everything in the game can be changed.

We believe that World War 2: Time of Wrath can follow the path of the greatest turn based strategy games series, and assure players that Strategies are Cool!

And a screenie;

Zoomed in with much more detail.

Don't know if this is promising ... or scaring! [&:]

cpdeyoung -> RE: absence of info (4/7/2009 6:59:22 PM)

I welcome changes, but we can keep our copies of WW2:RtV also. I am not a graphics guy, and I have old eyes, so I am making sure I have a display that I can read at zoomed out ranges.

Chuck
