Check for issues related to this to see the problem. SAM facilities placed too close to an elevation change will crash into the ground. The increases in elevation are represented by vertical steps. So moving from one map poly to the next with say, a 30m contour increase is seen by the game engine on your "black map background" as a vertical 30m "wall". Obviously this already provides issues for SAM launch and siting on maps, and would be the cause of units "attached" to the ground literally running headlong into these contour walls. More likely an issue to be looked at as the game moves toward a new GUI and possible updated maps. 2.> I have already started to collect PD photos for facilities, mainly SAM sites or launchers nice shot on the HUD3 site showing an I-HAWK getting airborne. I should be able to grab some generic pics around Melbourne of warehouses etc, take a trip out to the RAAF museum at Point Cook and grab some Hangar photos etc. Again this is something that will have to wait for a new GUI unless Russell can link up the facility annex and allow DB Editors to assign Picture index numbers so we can set up the required file structures. This is the easier of the two requests, I'll double check my feature requests in Mantis and make sure it's listed. Darren Sean
