Buket -> UV hard lock ups (5/20/2002 9:11:45 AM)

I am having trouble with UV crashing (needing a system reset). It happens after loading up the scenario in the tutorial and Pressing "Z" to zoom in. After the game zooms, it locks. I have tried this, and reproduced the same lock up repeatedly. If I use the mouse to zoom, it will allow me 2 or 3 times (zooming in and out) before locking up. I am going to try a game without using the zoom to see if it locks up in other situations as well, but wanted to throw this out in case anyone else has had this problem and if there's a fix.

Win98SE
PIII 500
Soundblaster Live! (updated drivers)
NVidia TNT2 Ultra (updated drivers)
384 RAM

(I have turned off acceleration for Sound through Dx Diag.)

Buket

SKillelea -> Same Problem, similiar system (5/21/2002 9:14:16 PM)

I am experiencing the exact same problem now that I updated my drivers. I also have a very similiar system.

Win98SE
PIII 500
Soundblaster Live! (updated drivers)
NVidia 32 MB TNT2 (updated drivers)
256 RAM

Any help would be appreciated.

Could both of you please post your exact Nvidia driver versions and whether or not the game locks up in non-zoomed mode? Thanks.

Regards,

- Erik

Also having the exact same problem. I'm using ver21.81 drivers. Again (I also have the same animation problems that Raskal67 has), it's only happening in Win98 for me. Absolutely no problems in Win2k. Here's the thread for the other problem. I never have one without the other (they're intermittent, but always paired).
