GREAPER -> STARSHATTER TGS: Crashes at startup (4/20/2009 10:44:46 PM)

I just spent 60 bucks and change for a download and hard copy of this game and it will not launch. Tried Matrix support but there solution did not work. They have not responded to my further inq. When I start the game I do get the startup menu. then when I click play all I get is ....Starshatter-TheGatheringStorm.exe has encountered a problem and needs to close. Here is the errlog.file from the game files. Hope it helps for someone to help me. The demo I downloaded 3.9.9 works just fine.

Did you contact us through our Help Desk? If so, please e-mail me at erikr@matrixgames.com with the ticket ID and I'll find out what happened. Also, did you try posting in the Starshatter forum? My first assumption is that your video card can't handle the game. There was an earlier version (original Starshatter) that didn't fully require DirectX 9 and a newer version that did (Starshatter: The Gathering Storm). Was the demo you played of Starshatter or Starshatter: The Gathering Storm?
