Maelstrom -> British AT gun classification (10/22/2000 4:12:00 AM) I've always been a bit unclear on how the Brit 'pounder'guns converted to mm. Anyone want to enlighten me ? 2pounder- between 30-50mm ? 6pounder- ? 17 pounder- 75mm/54 ?

Almogavar -> (10/22/2000 6:15:00 AM) Hi Maelstrom, the British designation is the shell weight not the calibre in millimetres, in fact the 13pdr and the 15dr Mk.1 mounted a 76.2mm gun, but if you want to know the “translation” for WWII AT guns: - QF 2 pdr Mk.VII- 40mm (1.57in) - QF 6 pdr 7cwt Gun Mk.2- 57mm (2.244in) - Ordnance OF 17 pdr Gun – 76.2mm (3.0in) Almogavar ------------------ Desperta ferro.
