Preacher -> Weird graphics glitch (5/22/2002 11:12:01 AM)

This is kind of hard to explain, but I'll try...

I haven't been able to pinpoint what exactly triggers this, but every time I play, some point in the game my on-map icons will all of a sudden appear differently. The japanese icons go from red to orange-ish. The allied from green to light blue. Also, I lose all the nationality flags - they become green-ish or orange-ish (and look like garbled NATO icons ??). Also, I lose the airfield icons at all bases that currently have planes and GAIN airfield icons at all those that do not. All in all, this makes it a bit difficult to tell at a glance what in the world is going on! :)

My system is a P4 1.7ghz, 256meg, GeForce3 Ti with latest NVidia drivers. Windows XP. SB Live! sound.

Thanks,

Preacher

Have you at some stage accidentally pressed the F7 key...? This toggles between two different methods of icon display.

I don't think so, but i'll see. Wouldn't explain the color change, however.
