My guess is that someone asked Tesla to design a machine gun[:'(]. The radiator coils around the barrel are throwing me.[:)]

RUPD3658 -> RE: Name This AE...304 (5/1/2009 12:52:02 AM)

A seeing eye dog teaching markmanship? (And not being impressed)[:D]

No such aircraft. :D

RevRick -> RE: Name This AE...304 (5/1/2009 11:36:12 AM)

Bet it wasn't brought in with a bf109 either.  Waste of a really good dog, though.  Wish I had mine back, or could convince a parsonage committee that a German Shepherd Dog in the house was not a bad idea.

cantona2 -> RE: Name This AE...304 (5/1/2009 1:05:01 PM)

Is that Blondi, Hitler's alsatian?

treespider -> RE: Name This AE...304 (5/1/2009 1:18:01 PM)

Model 92 Machine gun with M-94 Optical sight, mounted on an M-38 or M-3 tripod.

wdolson -> RE: Name This AE...304 (5/1/2009 1:39:32 PM)

If the German Shepard came from Germany on a plane, it may have been one of the He-100s that were sent to Japan via Russia in 1940.  They were the inspiration for the Tony.

On the other hand, maybe the dog is just lunch?

Bill

Charbroiled -> RE: Name This AE...304 (5/1/2009 2:12:54 PM)

Rin Tin Tin taking out a Japanese MG nest single handed.

BrucePowers -> RE: Name This AE...304 (5/1/2009 3:46:07 PM)

The dog looks a little bewildered. Why am I here when people are shooting at me?

Terminus -> RE: Name This AE...304 (5/1/2009 5:02:20 PM)

Story of military dogs (two-legged and four-legged) throughout history...

You would think it a no-brainer - "Dah, people, 'shepherd', get it?"

Hope they never see your collection of Nazi war memorabilia.

Brady -> RE: Name This AE...304 (5/1/2009 8:29:03 PM)
